Community

The Flagler County Medical Society, with only seven original members, received its charter in 1978 from the Florida Medical Association.  The Society now has 65 members.

The Flagler County Medical Society is committed to assisting the local community.  The physician members contribute by lending their time and finances to the citizens of Flagler County.

Our physicians have provided High School Sports Physicals for students in Flagler County for many years.  These physicals are provided at no cost to the hundreds of athletes participating in varied sports.   Additionally, the physicians sponsor many health screenings, an effort to encourage residents to obtain preventative health care.  Community lectures by our physicians also assist in educating the public about health care risks and choices available to them.

Our Medical Directory is available on-line, or for a hard copy, please contact us and we will forward you a copy for your perusal.

Financially, the Flagler County Medical Society has made contributions to the Flagler County/Palm Coast Chamber of Commerce Building Fund, as Bronze Sponsors, with a donation of $1,000.  We have also made donations to the American Cancer Society, and the American Heart Association.

We have available, for high school students, a scholarship that is awarded annually for students who are pursuing a health-care related college degree.  A copy of the application for scholarship is also available on this website.

We are proud to serve our friends and neighbors and strive to make Flagler County a healthy and pleasant community in which to live.  Thank you for your interest in the Flagler County Medical Society and we look forward to serving you in the future.
